This video from Dometic Medical Systems documents how RFID-enabled smart refrigerators store blood and allow blood banks to communicate in real time with healthcare facilities. Each drawer is divided into 15 cells, each equipped with an RFID reader to provide continuous management of each blood bank. The system monitors storage temperatures in real time and crates a temperature history for each blood bank.
